EDUCATORS: JOIN AS A CAP AE MEMBER
Aerospace education members have access to Civil Air Patrol’s national academic standards-aligned curricula, special programs, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Kits designed to support teaching aerospace and STEM topics. The effort is designed to meet future STEM workforce needs through exciting and innovative hands-on learning.
This is a special category of membership for those within the formal or informal educational community and is designed for kindergarten to 12th-grade learning in various settings, including classrooms, home-school groups, museums, libraries, and other youth organizations.
Aerospace education members also have a unique opportunity to participate in a teacher orientation flight aboard a Civil Air Patrol aircraft. These members are not required to belong to a local squadron, do not wear uniforms, and do not attend local squadron meetings.
There $35 membership fee for the first year, with free annual membership renewals as long as the educator remains active.
